Route
  1. Day 1. Sunday Perth-Kalgoorlie

Our train departs from East Perth Station, leaving behind the Indian Ocean, to begin to cross the green valley of Avon mid-morning. After you settle into your cabin and discover the place you will call home for the next four days, your first meal on our train will be waiting for you.

In the afternoon you will have free time to continue discovering the train and your new companions, until we reach our first stop, the city of Kalgoorlie. In this mining town, founded during the gold rush, we will make the first excursion. Here we will visit Hannan's North Tourist Mine and see the Super Pit Gold Mine, as well as getting to know the city.

Back on the train, you can head to the lounge wagons, or go to your comfortable cabins to enjoy the first night of our trip.

  2. Day 2. Monday Cook-Nullabor

When you wake up today, we will be entering the desert plain of Nullarbor. An immense expanse of barren land that has remained unchanged for thousands of years.

After breakfast we will arrive at Cook, a bustling city at its origin, but a practicaly ghost town nowadays. Here we will have time to explore its streets and know something of its history.

Back on the train you can refresh and relax with the wonderful landscape, or go to the Lounge to share your experiences with the other passengers.

We will continue our tour by South Australia as night falls and head to Adelaide.

  3. Day 3. Tuesday Adelaide-Broken Hill

When you wake up today, you will discover a totally different landscape to the one you saw before sleeping. We are arriving in Adelaide.

In this coastal city, known for its wines and its festivals, we will have the opportunity to make two different excursions during the morning. We can take a stroll through the city and discover the extraordinary Adelaide Central Market, or we can do a coach tour visiting the Adelaide Oval, the most picturesque cricket field in the world, the Haighs chocolate factory, and the green Adelaide Hills.

Back on the train and after an exquisite lunch on board, we will see again how the landscape changes. The pastures of the coast disappear and we can see the Flinders Ranges and as we pass from a rocky area to the outback scrub.

In the afternoon we will arrive at Broken Hill, known as the Silver City. In this isolated mining town we can visit the late Pro Hart's art studio or the Miners' Memorial.

We will end the day by returning to our cabin to enjoy the last night of the trip.

  4. Day 4. Wednesday Sydney

During breakfast you can admire the spectacular Blue Mountains while the train arrives in Sydney, the end point of our trip.
