Start the day with a delicious continental breakfast, served in your cabin, as the train travels through Bulgaria and Romania. Enjoy the landscapes or talk to other travelers and, later, return to one of the dining cars for a magnific brunch.

When our train arrives in Bucharest we will take a bus tour of the city before heading to the Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel (or similar, depending on availability), where you will spend the night. Dinner will take place in a private location, with a casual dress code.

In the morning, board the train again for a delicious brunch as your journey continues to the mountain village of Sinaia. There disembark to visit the magnificent Peles Castle, once the home of former King Carol. The castle was also visited by the first guests of the Orient Express in October 1883, at the personal invitation of the king.

You will return to the train in the late afternoon for a relaxing journey to Hungary. Enjoy another delicious dinner and overnight stay on board.

Upon arrival in Budapest, you'll meet local guides for a short bus ride around the city. Continue your adventure with a Danube River cruise, which ends after lunch. Comfortable shoes are recommended for this excursion.

In the evening, you will be escorted to a nearby private venue for a typical Hungarian dinner, with an overnight stay in an elegant hotel.

Join the train again for a delicious lunch as it travels throught the vineyards and forests of Hungary. Later you will enjoy a delicious dinner and your last night on board.

Enjoy your final breakfast in your cabin as the train crosses the border between Germany and France. Later, a delicious farewell lunch will be served before arriving at the Gare de l'Est a Paris station.
